There's something very real about growing at your own pace. As we work to bring the old stone walls of the Domaine du Marquis back to life, the land has also begun its own restoration. It does so without plans, without gardeners and in total freedom.
This year, spring has filled Domaine with life. On the roads where those seeking an exclusive refuge will soon walk, wildflower carpets have been born. They are native species that grow alone and remind us why this place has always been a true sanctuary.
As you walk among the works, you find unique contrasts: a red poppy that appears next to an old trunk, or small blue flowers that grow right between the stones that our artisans are replacing by hand.

This mix between the craftsmanship of the works and the strength of wild flowers sums up very well what our houses will be like. Here we don't want to tame nature. Our goal is to integrate into it, to respect its history and to offer a place where time truly seems to stand still.
For us, true luxury is being able to disconnect effortlessly. At Domaine du Marquis, we achieve this thanks to total natural isolation. Here we exchange the noise of the outside world for the sound of the wind between wild gardens and the views of our historic architecture. It is a space designed for travelers who seek privacy, value heritage and want to enjoy an authentic environment.
We are often asked why we showed the hotel while it is still under construction. The answer is simple: because the process of creating this space is as beautiful as the final result will be. We want you to see how the dust on the stone gives way, little by little, to the smell of the Atlantic flora.
Our restoration respects the origin of each material. Just as the flowers in the garden grow in their air, Domaine du Marquis is rebuilt taking care of the essence of its rural past.
While we continue to work in detail, the poppies do their thing with the wind. We invite you to follow closely how this place is changing. Domaine's first awakening was for nature; the next one will be for you.
